Kitten Rescue Cam: If you’re just feeling blue and need a little pick me up, this is the perfect site, assuming you like cats (which of course you do). This live cam follows the sometimes uneventful, but always adorable adventures of the cats and kittens at the Los Angeles Kitten Rescue. Cats not your thing? Get the fuck out. Not a problem! They have plenty of other cams and highlights following puppies, owls, penguins, tigers, and bears (oh my!)

7 Cups of TeaThis is a wonderful service that I have personal experience with, both speaking to a Listener and acting as one myself. This online chat is completely free, confidential, and allows you to connect with someone when you really just need a listening ear. They also offer group chat, therapist search, self care references, and much more.

Suicide Hotline: 1 (800) 273-8255: If you need literal talking down off the ledge, or know someone threatening to or exhibiting signs of attempting suicide, please call this number. There are times when things can seem hopeless, and suicide seems like the only escape. I know- I’ve been there. But know that there are people who care. You may not reach Richard Cheese, but “pick up your receiver, [they’ll] make you a believer”. (Seriously, call them)

Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA): This site is overflowing with helpful information: a range of organizations for children to adults, medication databases, information on specific disorders, advice on finding help, and how to take action. The site is geared toward both consumers and professionals, and they even have their own blog.

There are plenty of other resources out there (including me). Do you have a go-to resource that isn’t listed on here but should be? Let me know! This blog is all about building a community, and helping others through our own dysfunctional messes, after all…
